Under the direction of Vikas Bahl, the horror thriller garnered a range of reviews from critics, ranging from mixed to positive. However, it’s the support and praise from a portion of the audience that has contributed to its successful run at the box office thus far. Maintaining its momentum after a robust beginning, the film has continued to perform steadily on weekdays. It is steadily progressing towards establishing itself as a profitable venture.
During its six-day theatrical run, Shaitaan amassed an estimated net total of 76.01 crores at the Indian box office. In terms of gross earnings, this equates to 89.69 crores. Additionally, the film has garnered 21 crores in gross revenue from the overseas market. When combining the gross earnings from both India and overseas, the film’s total collection stands at approximately 110.69 crores at the global box office.
This achievement marks Shaitaan as the third Bollywood film of 2024 to join the 100-crore club in global gross earnings. Preceding it were Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter and Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
Given its current momentum, this horror thriller is poised to surpass the 150-crore milestone in the upcoming days. While Yodha and Bastar: The Naxal Story are set to debut in theaters tomorrow, Shaitaan is expected to maintain its strong box office performance owing to its unique genre.

Having secured its place in the global 100-crore club, the film is now poised to enter the 100-crore net club at the Indian box office with aplomb. This milestone is anticipated to be reached by the conclusion of the second weekend. Upon achieving this, the film will become the second Bollywood production of 2024 to accomplish this feat, following Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter.
