The Delhi Government And The IB Board Of Directors Signed The MoU Of Understanding For The Delhi Board Of School Education.
DBSE will start with 30 affiliated schools. The Delhi government stated that 20 Professional Schools of Excellence (SoSE) will be established on August 15 under the board of directors.
“The Government of Delhi and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Committee have signed a memorandum of understanding. IB will cooperate with the upcoming Delhi School Education Committee. Now, through the cooperation of DBSE and IB, the educational revolution in Delhi will reach new heights,” Kejriwal tweeted Wen said.
DBSE will begin with 30 associated schools. Twenty Schools of Specialized Excellence (SoSE) will be dispatched under the board by August 15, the Delhi government had said.
All Schools of Specialized Excellence will show IB educational program, as indicated by a report.
SoSEs under the Delhi Board of School Education will take into account understudies of Classes 9 to 12 who have uncommon inclination and interest in explicit spaces of study including Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities, Performing and Visual Arts, and High-end 21st Century Skills, as indicated by the National Capital government.
Of the 20 SoSEs in the primary stage, eight schools will spend significant time in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) 5 schools each will have practical experience in Humanities and High-end 21st Century Skills, and two in Performing and Visual Arts.
In the primary year, admissions to the particular schools will be offered to Class 9 in Humanities, Performing and Visual Arts, and High-end 21st Century Skills.
In the STEM schools, confirmations will be offered to Class 9 and Class 11 understudies student. An inclination test will be held for admission to theSoSEs and the affirmation timetable will be declared later.
